Essex foursome NeatPeople follow their ‘Baby I’m Bored’ debut, ushering in a second instalment of Costello-esque beat pop in the shape of new single ‘Carry You Upward’, released May 7th, again through fledgling label Rekabet Records, on seven-inch vinyl and download. The flip, ‘Jane Go For A Drive’ pays homage to 40’s movie siren Joan Fontaine, sampling dialogue from Hitchcock’s 1940 classic ‘Rebecca’ (also starring Laurence Olivier).
